Malaria is a tropical disease that kills 750,000 children each year. That’s one child every 30 seconds. In Africa, this devastating disease is carried by mosquitoes and spread by a bite.
“Bite Back” is a campaign sponsored by the non-profit organization Compassion International. They are working to fight malaria in Africa by providing mosquito nets to protect poor families from mosquitoes that carry this disease. A donation of $10 will purchase one insecticide-treated bed net, distribute it to someone who needs it and also teach that person how to use the net effectively.
