New and just released on November 15, 2009 is one of the top new video games of 2009, the New Super Mario Bros video game for the Nintendo Wii. Play solo or multi-player with 2-4 players. One great new addition to this game is that multiple players can play at the same time (no more waiting for the other person to play while you wait for your turn)! Players can play competitively or they can cooperate together.

One of the best new Toys of 2009 is the EyeClops Mini Projector. To start with, I want to point that this is a toy, not to be confused with a high end home theater system. There is a reason that this is priced as low as it is and marketed as a “toy”. With that said, this is very popular and getting great reviews from customers on amazon.
The projector allows your kids to project a video source such as a video game or movie on the wall or on the ceiling. The room will need to be mostly dark for you to be able to see the image. Designed for kids age 8 year old and up, the projector can even be used outdoors with a battery pack! Check it out!
One of the best new toys in 2009 for kids age 8 years old and up (and adults too!) is the Nintendo DSi. This is a newly updated version from their previous handheld video game system. This new system includes a digital camera, web browser, and players can download new games from the web. There is also a sound application that is an interactive voice recorder and music player.

The new DJ Hero Video Game is now available and is a very popular game already. This game is similar to Guitar Hero (created by the same company) and allows you to use a turntable/mixer controller to scratch and mix your way to the top. DJ Hero is also compatible with the Guitar Hero Controller, so in multi-player mode, you can compete with your friends as DJ vs. DJ or DJ and Guitar. There are more than 100 songs from a variety of music styles including Pop, grunge, R&B;, Soul, techno and hip hop.
